Groens Cup 8, 9-10 May 2009

Groens cup is an anual sport event held by PPI Groningen (Indonesian Student Association in Groningen), and this year, Groens cup took place on 9 May up to 10 May 2009. There are a lot of categories of sport to participate, such as; futsal indoor, basket ball, badminton, table tennis, chess, capsa, panco, etc. Besides, there’s also a trophy for the best and tremendous supporter. From those categories, PPI Enschede sent the contingent which consists of players in futsal, badminton, table tennis, capsa, and chess.

As the result, PPI Enschede brought the trophies from 2 categories:
1. Runner-up of badminton (woman-single) by Fetty Febrianti
2. The best supporter by PPI Enschede

Unfortunately, for the other categories we couldn’t defeat our opponents. Nevertheless, we were so happy to had alot of fun in the Groens Cup 8. It’s not alaways about win and lose, but it’s more about the togetherness.
